Story

Gameplay

Gameplay follows a similar pattern to the last few games with a few differences. For one, There are multiple "bases" to defend instead of the one village. There are no gun towers either. Instead, Individual Gunners must be hired and put on turrets and the bases themselves. Your Mii also plays the same role as the rangers from the last game, but they are customizable and they don't help prepare. In addition, only one day is spent at each area. Different "Chips" replace the boosts and crystals from the last two games. When the grock's numbers are depleted enough, They initiate a "Death Charge"And must be chased in a battle race. In a battle race, Grocks aren't individually encountered, They are instead attacked from the map. Gunners are also disabled during a Death charge. In between missions, money can be earned by winning races, selling items, working the local shop till, sorting at a recycling centre and beating VR grocks at the Arcade.
